About Formby Car Body Repairs

Originally known as Jeff Hartley Body Repairs, having learnt my trade with another local body repair shop, I decided to branch out by myself. Making a successful offer to the then owner some 20 years ago, it has since been known as Formby Car Body Repairs.

Successfully running this from the start and as we continued to grow, my father also came to help me. To this day, we proudly remain a family run business.

We have recently moved to new and much larger premises, equipped with a new state of the art low bake spray booth to keep us at the forefront of car body repairs. We also use one of the leading manufacturers’ car paint systems, Standox Waterborne paint system which applies with EU Legislations.

We currently undertake work for a large, prestige Car & Van Hire Company, as well as many other local garages and individual customers. Whatever scale work you require, you can be safe in the knowledge that each and every customer will receive the same level of attention and high standard of service.

All our paint work is fully guaranteed for 2 years and if possible, we can arrange same day service at no extra cost.

A courtesy car can also be provided, please note however your own insurance is required.
